Other Positioners - Series 760
760OP
A cost effective, universal approach to your valve control. The modular concept (Model 760P) allows all models to be built on the base pneumatic unit. The electro-pneumatic model (Model 760E) is created by adapting an I/P Transducer to the base pneumatic unit, and a wide range of accessories easily installs inside the unit. Universal design and choice of interchangeable NAMUR IEC 534-6 rectilinear or VDI/VDE 3845 rotary mountings provide wide application flexibility Double-acting or single-acting service and split ranging afford application versatility in a single unit NACE MR-01-75-compliant material ensures operation in harsh industrial environments Non-interaction of the zero and span adjustments and positive cam locking mechanism significantly reduce the calibration and setup Modular design reduces inventory because it allows interchangeable spare parts Comes standard with 3 cams, linear, quick opening and equal % for application versatility The 760 base pneumatic unit provides cam characterization, split ranging, direct or reverse action, and single or double acting without requiring additional parts. Key design features include non-interaction of the zero and span adjustments. Series 760 valve positioners include provisions for internal limit switch mounting and position feedback devices without requiring additional housings. Thus, the need to stack housings that impede access to the main enclosure are eliminated. A spool valve is used to load the actuator for positioning in response to an input signal. A characterized cam provides mechanical feedback. There are linear, equal percentage and quick opening operation cam profiles, and a blank profile cam is available for custom applications. Rectilinear action length can range from 1/2 to 6. The feedback shaft and characterized cam can be replaced in the field to configure the positioner for use with either a rectilinear or rotary actuator. No additional parts are necessary to change between single or double acting actuators or direct or reverse action.

Other Positioners - Series PS2
PS2OP
The PS2 Series digital electro-pneumatic positioner with Hart protocol is used to control the final control element of pneumatic linear or part-turn actuators. The electro pneumatic positioner moves the actuator to a valve position corresponding to the setpoint. Additional function inputs can be used to block the valve or to set a safety position. A binary input is present as standard in the basic device for this purpose. Only one device version for linear and part-turn actuators Simple operation and programming using three keys and a two-line LCD Automatic startup function with self-adjustment of zero and span Manual operation without additional equipment Selectable or freely-programmable characteristics Minimum air consumption Selectable setpoint and manipulated variable limiting Programmable tight shut-off function” Available for non-hazardous or hazardous applications as intrinsically-safe device (EEx ia/ib) or in flameproof casing (EEx d) Options: With 0/4 to 20 mA communication using HART signals (option) With PROFIBUS-PA communications interface (EEx ia)

Pressure Relief Controllers
PRC
MVC5000 PARV Digital Controller The MVC5000 is a highly integrated process controller which adds decentralized automation to distributed flow control devices. ASME Section I Power Actuated Relief Valve Configuration “PARV” In the “PARV” configuration, the MVC5000 operates as a sophisticated digital pressure switch. While continuously monitoring process pressure through a high precision ADC, the MVC5000 automatically operates a power actuated relief valve according to the user’s programmed set pressure and blow down criteria. This configuration can be used to control ASME and non-ASME capacity certified PARVs. The PARV configuration also includes provisions for DCS and manual override.
